An Estonian photographer,  Kalmer Lehepuu, whose roots are here in Taagepera, has fixed up a small  slideshow  of  the nature surrounding us every day, right here, in Taagepera.

This is what Kalmes tells about himself:

“Actually it is quite simple. In the world of photography I am a no-one, like a simple man from a forest (in estonian: “Mees Metsast”). Do not ask me, why I take photographs – I don’t know the answer. It’s just the way things are. I take pictures of everything that seems interesting but above all is the nature. Not that I don’t like people. I like people very much! But I like the forest more.”

We say, that he is an excelent photographer and these are wonderful pictures!
